Product Description

This is the game that started the Intellivision homebrew revolution. A solid, essential game, 4-Tris is addictive. The rhythmic background music and relentless pace keep you coming back for more.

In 2001, 4-Tris made its cartridge debut--the first new cartridge release in over a decade. With that release, 4-Tris brought this classic gameplay to the Intellivision at last.

The original release created an instant classic, but the packaging left something to be desired. This release shows Intellivision game production at its best, giving 4-Tris the treatment it deserves: A beautiful custom die-cut box, vivid overlays, a full color manual, and of course, the classic game play you crave.

Game Play

Tetraminoes are pieces created from 4 blocks joined together into 7 different patterns. By rotating them, you can position the pieces as they are falling so they fill open spaces. When an entire horizontal line fills with the pieces, the line clears and you are on your way to higher levels!
Blocks will fall from the top of the screen towards the bottom. Arrange the pieces so that a row is completely filled by the blocks. Failing to do so will fill up the screen making it more and more difficult to clear rows. A cleared row will disappear giving you points and making game play easier.
